Reframing Your Mindset to Break Bad Habits
Mindset is everything , to first change or break a habit , we should first of all change how we perceive them. The way we view ourselves and the identity we give ourselves also have a hand in how we are tied to a particular habit.
If you see yourself as a "night owl" , as most teenagers tend to do , you are likely to justify that even though it affects your sleep.
So in other to tackle a situation like this , you have to redesign your mindset to align with a healthy behavior. You can decide to add affirmative words to it.
Thinking positively about yourself will actually reduce the way we appeal for bad habits , this in turn creates a motivation to actually adopt the positive ones.
With the help of this shift or change in identity , it becomes more sustainable to break bad habits and adopt new ones which leads you faster towards the person whose identity you are trying to adopt.
