small consistent steps are sustainable and much easier to maintain thereby making it more powerful than dramatic changes.
Each small win serves as evidence that you are becoming the type of person you want to be.

Let say that you want to become a reader , don't focus your aim on maybe reading 20 pages a day or maybe one book per week , but focus on reading on maybe a page or 2 a day. this action , with time accumulates , builds your confidence and motivates you to grow making it easier to mainatain the habit.
