Imitation and the Habit Loop

The concept of social influence is tied to the habit loop which includes cue , craving , response and reward. The told told us that tring to immitate people in some ways acts as a cue during the habit formation process.

This because when we see others engaging in a particular behavior , we are being triggered to replicate these bahaviors, this now leads to response (action) and a reward which is perceievd as a social acceptance.

When we have a friend who works out every morning and then post snapshot of it , we might be inspired to start exercising.
