The Importance of Awareness
So in this part of the chapter , the author laid emphasis on how important it is to become aware of the cues that trigger our habits .
But as can be seen from the previous part of this review , most of our habits are automatic , this now makes it hard for us to recognize the cues that lead to them.
According to the believe of the author , the first step in changing bad habits or forming new one is to become very much aware of the cue that triggers those habits and initiate those behaviors .
We can gain control over our actions By identifying these cues. We can also make deliberate and conscious choices about which habits to build or break.
