So what am i trying to say , if we understand the underlying desire behind craving , it can go a long way in helping us to shape our habit in such a way that it fulfill's thsoe desires in a positive way.
So the goal here is to find an emotion to associate your desired habit with, then look for a better way to make those habits to be more attractive.
This appealing and attraction compels us to perform those habits. To add to this , we all know that the brain naturally longs for things that actually triggers dopamine spike , this concept can be a very vital tip in our journey towards behavior or habit reinforcement
