Mastering the Art of Showing Up
In other to try to drive home his emphasis and importance of consistency ,the idea of "mastering the art of showing up was introduced". The goal here is not perfection , but to become the person that shows up daily, no matter how small your effort is.
Some one whose goal is to develop the habit of working out regularly, should simply start with wearing his clothes and showing up in the gym , even if it is few exercise. this reinforces your identity as someone who does exercise.
You all can remember the two minute rule ,these are just the simple version of the habit that you are trying to build. This tiny actions as time goes on will help you build momentum has a way of reinforcing the identity that is necessary for long time success.
