So the topic of this chapter is not actually a new concept but rather a kind of build up that has its foundation rooted on the third principle of behavioral change. The third law of behavioral change says , "make it easy " , In a nutshell, it tells us that for us to be able to break a bad habit , we need to have a deeper understanding of what motivates , triggers , and drives us to perform those acts.
In his argument , he made us believe that habits aren't something that develop randomly, they are a kind of response to what he called underlying cues, or problems in our lives.
so if we can recognize these triggers and redesign our mindset , we are sure to dismantle unwanted behaviors.
