Last week we couldn't hold the pub, reasons been that, blurt was facing some technical issues, but thanks to the blurt team for tackling the issues and providing us a quick solution. It feels good to be back doing this after inability to do it last week.
Blurt was off for three days, how was those days for you?
It wasn't pleasant and I am not trying to sound loyal. It's just the truth. It was horrible and @princessbusayo could bear witness to the fact that we speak every day on it while constantly refreshing to see when it's back up even after hearing announcement that it would take 48 hours. The wait wasn't funny...it's like waiting for a lady to give you an answer to your dating proposal and you just wait by the riverside just incase she says no 😂😂🤣🤣😂🤣.
I just had that faith that it would be back. I specifically miss engagements on Blurttribe since I don't have that much on my blog. It felt like a part of what I do daily was missing.
The first day was okay because I felt it would be back in no time but the second and the third day were the hardest. Fear turned to panic and I was so worried. I didn't want it to be like Weku that went off for three days never to come back but jokes apart, I just knew it would be back and i as hanging in there.
What if blurt was to take a year to get back on, would you be back after?
Absolutely. Everyone who knows me know that I don't back down easily. Blurt has given us so much and I would always be back... just like the story with the first love or those who had their first 🤣🤣😂😂🤣 they can never forget that memory and feeling. Blurt gave me that feeling of belongingness and yes, as we say in Nigeria, "we die here."
If you could relive a weekend, which one would it be? Tell us about one memorable weekend you had.
That would be when I got married. It was so beautiful. You know when you had no support from anyone and you did most of the things yourself in terms of financing and still, those who failed to support you came around and still noticed that you did a great job despite their lack of help? It's a wonderful feeling. Success is the best revenge and yes, I would always tell people that revenge is ice cream. How? Because revenge is sweet and it's best served cold, so revenge is ice cream but in my own case, success was the revenge. I relied heavily on my salary and my blogs payments then and everything was beautiful...never owed a dime. I cried that day too not because of them but because I just didn't know how God helped me pull it off. I was singing in Church and I was crying. It was beautiful.

Scary rides? Count me out 🤣🤣😂😂🤣. Haunted houses? No way! I would have goosebumps over my body. I would take scary movies because I enjoy seeing my heart jump and the thrills it gives watching from afar. I love the unpredictability of them and how they invent horror 🤣🤣😂😂. That's why I started watching "Stranger Things". I'm enjoying it so far.

Oh! I can relate to that moment where you were singing and crying because you never knew God would show up in such ways. I have experienced this many times in Church and home. I just flash back to how God has cared for me and helped me so far. It isn't easy for you but things are fine with you.
The scary movies, haunted house, I know you don't watch them. Surprised you are watching stranger things. Should I recommend some for you? 🤣🤣🤣

Right now I've started watching the 4th season, not because it's scary, but because I spend some time to watch a movie at night with my wife. The first 3 seasons were spectacular

My day was incomplete without checking Blurt so on those 3days I couldn't could the instances I check if the site is up already. I waited patiently because I know they are working to fix it.

If given a chance I want to relive this specific weekend. Our last beach time with my late father. If you can spot the big guy behind my eldest son wearing blue green rashguard and a floater, thats my Papa. Missed that happy face!

Haunted houses, I don't find it attractive simply because most of haunted houses I've been to smells awful.😓

Hahahaha......scary movies at night are the best so they say😂😂😂😂, Me too I get scared easily especially when is dark I feel like am in the movie 🤣🤣🤣. The sounds and everything keeps reoccurring in my head but I know is not real🤣

I can assure you that they are better at night. When I was a kid, horror movies were shown at midnight and I watched them even though I couldn't sleep afterwards, hahaha.

Desde siempre me gustan mucho las películas de terror las pongo en la televisión o si no voy al cine y veo la película, me gusta que las historias sorpendan y haya de que hablar, sobre todo en esos momentos de tensión cuando te asustan.

What if blurt was to take a year to get back on, would you be back after? Of course I would return, in spite of everything I would support Blurt.
If you could relive a weekend, which one would it be? Tell us about one memorable weekend you had. I have many pleasant weekends, such as going out with my family to see places, going with my friends to the clubs to drink beer, roasting meat on weekends.

I have always really liked horror movies, I put them on television or if I don't go to the cinema and watch the movie, I like stories that surprise and have to talk about, especially in those moments of tension when they scare you.

Summer weekend with my only son and hubby in Sagada, Philippines, where we went caving, trekking, ate anything we wanted and marveled at the wonders of nature. The thought of it makes me want to jump in a plane right now and fly home. 😌

Oh, yeah, I adore all of them. It excites me rather than scares me. Haunted Universities, a Thai horror film, was my most recent cinema experience. Scary movies relax me as well. I'm not sure why, but it feels that way to me. Oh, and Incantation is now streaming on Netflix. I'm going to see it tonight because it's best seen at night, Darkness adds up the excitement and the fact that I'm alone too. Wooooooo. LOL. Do you like scary movies too, @blurttribe?

Well, is good to be back here, having the likes of @merit.ahama, @obikay, and so many others here. When it comes to scary movies, I love watching them in groups though not at night, because I don't want to get stuck in one place maybe thinking something is watching me😂😂😂. Even when I do watch them With people, when sleeping I love the lights on🤣🤣. But scary movies are kind of interesting, don't you think so??

That's true😂😂. I think the suspense is something else. I remember been a commentator in one of the scary movies I watched 🤓🤓. I was just busy talking out loud to the actors on what they should do, as if they can hear me🤓🤓🤓🤓

That was the weekend at my sister's house in Lagos. She lives in Lekki Ajah side and staying with her was fun and I didn't want it to end as I was comfortable and gisted with her.*
