A frail heart demands
Love to not twice fail,
One more trial to give
Love for the sake of love.
First time, she glows;
Gay with love and joy
Cupid have smiled on her
Till the break that kills her.
She considers cupid stupid.
Decides not to love again
To lock her now broken heart
It's strings playing a sad tune.
Now the love bug bites again,
The arrow pierces the lock.
