Basic rules for growing tulips🌷

Bulbs are planted in the fall. This provides them with the opportunity to grow (although not the first) almost immediately after the snow melts. The only point is that you should not be in too much of a hurry so that the planting material does not have time to sprout before the onset of winter.

For planting, choose a place not in the shade. Loosen the ground. Then it is customary to make grooves in the soil or separate recesses for individual planting. At the bottom of the recesses, or grooves, pour a little sand, place the bulbs, cover them with earth and level the surface.

If the soil is too dry, it can be watered about one week after planting. When winter frosts come, "wrap" the bulbs with additional dry leaves, a layer of straw or peat. When spring arrives, remove the mulch so as not to interfere with flower germination and soil warming.
