Why embroidery?

I promised you to return to this conversation. Everything is very simple: since drawing began to turn from a hobby into a profession, the time has come to look for another hobby. And here it’s not even that I can’t sit down and draw “for myself”. I don’t like to draw on the table at all, so my motto is: any illustration should have an application. Any of my creative initiatives becomes an order, an art on a bag, a postcard or an embroidery pattern. You can find just a couple of recent works that have not found their application in life.

After long drawing and painting, a change of activity is urgently needed. The moment when the child is sleeping, you prepared breakfast in advance, did the work and decided to “live for yourself” 😹 Turn on the series, take embroidery and enjoy the peace and quiet with a cup of tea☕ And it doesn’t matter at all that “live for yourself” begins in my 3-4 am and lasts no more than an hour 🙈 I agree to any amount of time, as long as creativity remains in my life every day.

And now everything is much more interesting! After all, I was presented with a couple of embroidery schemes based on my work. Emotions cannot be expressed in words❤ I hope I will find time for the New Year to embroider the Grinch 🎄
