TAKING CARE OF YOURSELF IS EXPENSIVE, BUT NOT TAKING CARE OF YOURSELF IS ALWAYS MORE EXPENSIVE.
El ser humano y peculiarmente el venezolano es por lo general procrastinador, es decir deja las cosas para luego y si son importantes como la salud, pues mas aún. El hecho es que en este momento estoy saliendo del odontólogo , sucede que después que nace mi hijo mauricio el 2 de febrero del año 2020, por diversas excusas que podrían ser o no de peso, me descuidé la salud bucal.Pasa que el primer año de mi hijo fue muy fuerte para nosotros, es decir absolutamente demandante. En fin, como resultado de no asearme bien mis dientes, pues se me picaron varias muelas que a su vez comprometieron otras muelas. Y ahora el dinero que debo gastar para reparar este desastre es una suma que en mi economía es bastante.

The fact is that at this moment I am leaving the dentist, it happens that after my son Mauricio was born on February 2, 2020, for various excuses that may or may not be weighty, I neglected my oral health, it happens that the first year of my son was very strong for us, that is absolutely demanding. Anyway, as a result of not taking care of my teeth properly, I had several teeth that got chipped, which in turn compromised other teeth. And now the money I have to spend to repair this disaster is a sum that in my economy is quite a lot.
El dia a dia nos exige gestionar muy bien el capital, el poco dinero que se gana debe ser bien administrado, por eso, frecuentemente vemos la salud preventiva como un GASTO y la salud realmente es una INVERSIÓN. Si tenemos problemas de salud esto no nos permite trabajar, ejercer nuestra rutina diaria y consecuentemente no tener ingresos. Hay un libro donde leí una frase que jamás se me olvidó. "Quererse sale caro pero no quererse siempre sale más caro". Y es que a veces debemos hacer un esfuerzo por nuestra salud, recordemos que nadie vendrá a salvarnos y no es el deber de nadie cuidar de nosotros. Si nosotros no nos cuidamos en todos los aspectos ¿Porque otro debería hacerlo?. El hecho es que aquí estoy y nada más el día de hoy pagaré 50$ por repararme 2 muelas y hacerme una profilaxis dental. De alguna manera estoy feliz porque esto hará que vuelva a masticar correctamente (cosa que es un auténtico suplicio a día de hoy). Aún me falta sacarme las muelas del juicio, extraerme una muela que ya no tiene salvación y reparar una caries.
Day to day life requires us to manage our capital very well, the little money we earn must be well managed, that is why we often see preventive health as an EXPENSE and health is really an INVESTMENT. If we have health problems this does not allow us to work, to exercise our daily routine and consequently to have no income. There is a book where I read a phrase that I have never forgotten. "Loving yourself is expensive, but not loving yourself is always more expensive". And sometimes we must make an effort for our health, remember that no one will come to save us and it is not anyone's duty to take care of us. If we do not take care of ourselves in all aspects, why should anyone else? The fact is that here I am and just today I will pay 50$ to repair 2 molars and have a dental prophylaxis. In a way I am happy because this will make me chew properly again (which is a real pain today). I still have to have my wisdom teeth removed, a tooth that is beyond saving and a cavity repaired.
