It is pertinent for everyone to take absolute care of his or her skin to avoid infections.
Fungal infections cannot heal by itself no matter the number of years it is ignored instead it will keep spreading either rapidly or gradually.

If fungal skin infections aren't treated, they can last for a long time. They could also spread to other parts of your body, cause a bacterial infection can be passed to other people. If you have a fungal infection on your scalp, this may cause a bald patch if left untreated.source

This reminds me of when I served in the military for my country. There they customarily cut the hair completely to identify us with the oldest, who also had short hair, but not in the Kojak style .

There was a person who, when they began to shave his head, noticed something unusual among his enlisted: he had a layer of scales on his head. I immediately thought it was dandruff, which is caused by a fungus, but when the battalion doctor examined it, he determined that it was not a fungal disease, but a disorder of the sebaceous glands.

Now, among the disadvantages that exist when having a skin problem caused by fungi, the aesthetic aspect counts. It is not very pleasant to look at having your shoulders full of dandruff and whitish spots on your skin. The scaling of the skin, redness, and the itching that this produces, can be significantly aggravated by spreading to other parts of the body through constant scratching, and this is quite uncomfortable for those who suffer from it.

Fungai infection could be neglected by many especially when its on the skin and looks so small and when u see it you did be like "ohh it will go " or a traditional method will be applied to do the work which some times works and often may fail too, But leaving A fungi infection untreated leaves it so free to grow and own the infected part as a territory and may even lead to death.
below are some pictures.

Treatment of diseases like fungal is one of the ways of taking care of our body. When one ignorantly or doesn't treat fungal diseases; it will make the immune system vulnerable, spreads the disease to other part of the body, and might finally lead to death.
It is adviced to see your doctor when one notice such disease.

And something that is very important: We must remember that the skin is the largest organ that has the human being, therefore, is one of the large surfaces that must be kept clean, cared for and with good oxygenation, as there are many areas where we can accumulate toxic waste that subsequently generate infections and other diseases by contamination.
The skin is not taken care of and hygiene is practiced to make it look good, it is done because it is one of the great entrances to the interior of the human body and it is necessary to take care of it.
To be able to enter through it, infectious agents have to reach weak areas, that is why the skin is cared for and protected, because it is the protection or limit of the internal organs of the human being and it is the largest organ, and therefore, the one that has more contact with the outside.

Please excuse me I don't know about that.

All I know is that my brother also has these spots on his body. He used a cream and it was gone. As soon as he stopped using the cream, it was back to normal.
