This is a good topic to consider, as many people are looking for ways to lose weight with as little sacrifice as possible.

Although this type of diet is effective in the first instance, when a person decides to return to their normal life, they tend to experience a rebound effect, gaining back the weight they have lost and with interest.

I can't imagine giving up foods like oatmeal and whole grain flours (I try not to consume refined flours), fruits, vegetables, and grains, which are rich in carbohydrates. This is precisely what I consume the most, avoiding the frequent intake of red or "white" meats such as chicken.

When I have wanted to lose weight, I only do the following:

  • Have dinner before 6 pm.
  • Walk faster and faster (I do this at work)
  • I do not consume sugary drinks or alcohol (I always do this)
  • Supplement my diet with products for this purpose (In my case I use those from the company Omnilife)

Ketogenic diets tend to have high fat, adequate protein and low carbohydrates. Sources include egg, cheese, avacados, fish and sea foods etc. They help in epilepsy among children. Studies prove they can improve heart health and reduce risk of certain cancers.

The keto diet is also called the ketogenic diet. It is a high fat diet. In this diet, the body depends on fat for energy. This diet is very low in carbohydrates and protein is given in very moderate or controlled amounts.
