What is child abuse?

Child abuse is not just physical violence directed at a child. It is any form of maltreatment by an adult, which is violent or threatening for the child. This includes neglect. When child abuse occurs in the home and the abuser is, for example, the child's parent or care-giver, this is a form of domestic violence .

As an organization one of the things we stand against is child abused/domestic violence.

This is one of the things that’s happening around the world, child abuse can cause a lot of damages to a child physically, mentally or otherwise and a child can be abuse in different ways including sexually.

Here are some effects of child abuse:

Physical abuse can cause injuries, broken bones, abrasion and more

Mental abuse can cause as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression and more

There are causes of this abuses and we also notice that most of this abuse is sexually related and such abuse causes trauma making this children to grow up without trust for people around them.

Child Abuse causes children to be scared of people, always feel guilty of scenarios and more.
