Getting Along

How well do your kids get along? I hope they get along very fine.

I and my siblings get along too well, we have short age gaps and we have been trained by our parents to get along fine. Though there are times that we could not avoid misunderstandings, it does not take us too long to mend our relationships.

When I was younger, some of my siblings went to some other places, two of them went to Manila to look for a better job, my other sister went to my father's place in Lanao, then my brother did not finish high school and went to Cebu to Join Professional boxing and he was unlucky to have a heart failure.
I was left alone at home though I travel a lot for my athlete trainings too. After a few years, the sister in Lanao came back and now with three kids with her. then her husband came too, and they had another two children born.

When I got to college, my father disapproved of me on the cheer leading pep squad, and one day, he sent me to manila where my sister was. I tried to go to school to finish college but life there was hard so I looked for a job instead.

I got bored and went home; I looked for my girl and finally made her mine. We got married and had three kids now and I had been making sure they get along as well.

Children don't know its importance yet but soon, they will know about it. Siblings are whom you will have when life gets hard and they are the ones who will understand and love you completely.

That's what I am trying to teach my kids, and as early as the younger kids were born, they were told the importance of having a family, and how important it is to love and be loved.

Today, my kids get along well, they share things, especially good ones and they look after each other.
