The beauty industry makes a lot of money offering alternatives for healthy hair growth, such as shampoos, conditioners, hair masks, and even miraculous toners in a short time, leaving aside food, which is the most important thing, because the hair it must be fed from within, and this is achieved through the food we eat.
Since I was a child, I have seen how my grandmother used coconut oil (which she prepared herself) or a mask of well-ripened avocado to show untangled and shiny hair. Despite this, she also said how important it was to eat foods that help from within us to have healthier hair and less hair loss.
In this sense, for minerals such as selenium, zinc, and iron, different studies have shown how effective they can be. Now, all citrus foods rich in vitamin C help the production of collagen, a protein capable of feeding the cells of the hair root.
But... (it seems that there always has to be a "But", lol) The preparation of industrial juices is also high in sugars, which is not good for health, so if we must drink juices, these should be prepared with an extractor and not with a blender, and take them preferably without adding sugar, adding other dried fruits such as dates to sweeten their flavor a little if necessary.
Juices of lemon, orange, tangerine, grapefruit, kiwi, mango, and red fruits such as strawberry, raspberry, and blackberry, papaya, watermelon, and melon, are rich in vitamin C, and therefore spectacular for nourishing hair from the root.
The idea is to eat the fruit alone, away from meals, and on an empty stomach to better absorb its nutrients, and after about 40 minutes, eat any of the meals that correspond to the hour.
I feel and see that we still have a lot to discover about fruits and about the benefits in general of the plant kingdom in our health; but we continue to investigate.
I never knew we need to take the fruits on an empty stomach, what a great lesson you have thought us ✅
There is always a first time for everything :)
For a few years now, I have directed part of my treatment schemes to the natural area; and as hair follicle strengtheners, on the scalp, as well as strengthening the hair itself, I have always indicated Nettle and Rosemary in combination; because they have the specific antioxidants and corresponding phytochemicals to create an adaptive and regenerative process that provide excellent hair growth.
This is not a new treatment. For many years in America our indigenous people and inhabitants before the Spanish arrival, here in America, used it and recommended it together with other plants such as Maca and Cat's Claw, and also Wild Yam.
Subsequently, with scientific studies we have been able to understand that our ancestors used stimulants of hormonal secretion, both male and female, as well as strengtheners of the immune system, to prevent hair loss and so that the scalp was always strong and nourished.
Both adaptogens that stimulate the hormonal function as rosemary and nettle, specifically as strengtheners of the hair follicle that is where the hair grows, are used today in a modern way as a way to assist in the overall treatment of hair loss or thinning hair.
As we can see, there is still a lot to learn about natural medicine, as we have focused on traditional medicine only.
I, as a physician, can testify to the number of people who have strengthened their scalp, but also adapted their metabolic systems, thanks to the consumption of adaptogens and other plants.
Nowadays getting rosemary and nettle for hair is very easy; they are already available in baturist stores and pharmacies as topical preparations and shampoo for hair; and also, we can prepare them ourselves by boiling the same portion of Nettle and Rosemary in a pot for a few minutes; we let it rest and then apply that water as if it were a mask for a few hours, once or twice a week.
Hair treatment with juice is gradually taking over the western world and we are very happy about that.
I know a juice. Make onion juice and apply. Which keeps the hair healthy. And in addition, if the hair has fallen here and does not happen again, then you should use onion juice there.

Regarding hair growth specifically, I don't remember any juice that affects it... it really took me by surprise, now if it's about juices that benefit health, I suppose I would have to mention one that is traditional in my country, we call it "three in one" or 3in1, it is freshly extracted orange juice, which is blended with carrot and beetroot pieces. As for carrots and beets, at home we use them raw to prepare this juice, but I have heard of people who blanch or steam them before blending them with orange juice, I suppose that each has its advantages.
I have not heard about 3in1
Thank you for bringing it to our knowledge.
We'll research about it.
You can also research about juice that help hair growth to get acquainted with the knowledge.
