I'm so happy to share that I've completed my NYSC Program. It took me approximately 1 year to complete and collect my certificate.

I was posted to Abuja to serve. I first camped in the NYSC camp for three weeks, after which I proceeded to locate my local government and place of primary assignment.

I went for weekly cds meetings and monthly biometrics to tick present on my dashboard. Failure to do so, I'd be marked absent and I didn't want that.

I made few friends but I mostly kept to myself. Not for any particular reason though. I accepted those that came close and didn't bother reaching out.

It's been completed, I am on to the next phase. For those that don't know, NYSC is compulsory for recent graduates under the age of 30.

Those above 30 will be issued exemption certificate and can serve in government offices. While those that went through the scheme, will also be eligible to serve in public offices.

Others who refused to serve or didn't serve due to one reason or another will not be eligible to work in public offices as NYSC certificate is a recognised and important document.
