OPEYIMI

Opeyimi was a true definition of beauty. You wouldn't just say beauty but beauty with brains. Yes! That's how good she was but she died, a painful death. What really happened, you may ask and this how the story goes.
Opeyimi was a student of the great Benin University, dark and very beautiful. Every man wanted to have her and girls got jealous of her beauty. She always mind her business and was barely seen at social gathering except when necessary. Being a Muslim, her hijab never left her head except in her dressing room, typical Muslim. Opeyimi came from a well recognized family in the city of Benin and her father was the Imam of the city big mosque, that's where her devotion came from. But, she wasn't staying with her family, she stayed close by the school with her friend, Mobipe.

Okay! Let's get back to how she died, so sad right? No one believed Mobipe could have a bad heart towards Opeyimi even though all the guys she had an eyes for wanted Opeyimi. Though Opeyimi minded her business and was quiet, she was friendly and never hesitate to give everyone a smile, that why she was loved.
Dauda, a guy of 25 years was transferred to Opeyimi's department and believe me, he was very Handsome. Every woman's dream cause he had gotten the smile. Dauda was a Muslim too from Oyo state. It was surprising that of all, Opeyimi became so close to Dauda. Mobipe's anger increased, she was able to overlook other guys who wanted Opeyimi but definitely not Dauda. Yes, she wanted him for himself and had shown her desperation but Dauda would just smile to himself, girls!

Opeyimi, I want to show you something, she had persuaded her that night. Mobipe had planned with some girls to humiliate Opeyimi but poor her didn't know the intention of other girls. Her plan was to drunk Opeyimi to stupor, strip her naked and make a video of her with a guy and sent it to the school media so especially Dauda would see, oh how wrong she was.
Haba! Mobipe, Opeyimi called out in a sweet tone, this is a night club and what are we doing here? It's against the korans law. Mobipe consoled her angered friend and persuaded her to join them since she was there. Well it was late and Opeyimi had no choice, how I wish she knew what will befall her. She was tight at first but decided to loosen up, it won't hurt atleast. Here, a cup of juice, the guy they planned with offered her and ask her for a dance. Mobipe who was watching from afar gave a wicked smile and set her camera, yes she had added some hard drugs to the juice but her co-friends had poisoned it without her knowing. Opeyimi danced happily until the worst happened. Hey! Get up, the guy on whose legs she had fallen began to shout, she was vomiting blood and her body was getting cold. Mobipe who was now confused tried to stop the video but it was late, the news has gone viral. She ran to her helpless friend, filled with regrets, she was hopeless, her fellow friends and the guy have all ran away, oh doomed.

Mobipe returned home the next morning after taking her friends body to the morgue. She wasn't that heartless to leave her behind, atleast, she has done enough harm. Dauda who had watch the video alerted the police immediately, he had known Mobipe was behind it, yes, he overheard their conversation but she had tried to reach you Opeyimj but he could not. Mobipe was packing up when the police arrived her apartment, she was caught. Investigation was made and they other three girls were found with the boy. They accepted their crime and was arrested for prosecution.
Aljahi Mustapha, Opeyimi's father took her daughter's body from the morgue with pains in his heart, he buried her and made sure justice was carried on for his daughter. Dauda on the other hand misses her so dearly and never stop thinking of her smile. When the information on the arreat of Mobipe had gone viral, people were shocked because this two were so close you could call them sister. No one knew Mobipe's desperation could lead her to that extent.
