It's 27th May, in our era
But the 27th day of May,
In Nigeria.
A Day for the celebration
Of all children in the nation
But this writeup takes a different dimension;
To celebrate the cause of this celebration.
The parents.
The parents that birthed these presents
'Cause all children, big and small are gifts to our present.
The parents I should,
Rather than celebrate, honour them I would
For the preciousness they've given to the world.
All babes become children
All Youth and Old were once children
And those that gave birth to children were once children.
God bless God who gives children to couples
And those who parturiate the couple, who parturiate the couple, who parturiate the couple
For life to continue by decoupling to couple.
