They shouted war
Their youthful heart seek war
When the old aged men
Told them about the sore battle
To those that saw not it is a fairy tale
But to those born in the battle
It is a cold bloody day
For then dust eat dust
Hunger was our companion
Taken advantage of the females
Was their only way of punishment
Some escape for their dear lives
Only running into the Lions mouth
No father no mother no brother
No sister no friends was our only slogans
We lived like animals
The jungles was our home
I saw the smiles of the bullets
Entering Into the belly of my father
My mother, my brother and my sister
But there was no time to wast
I have to save my head before it is cut of
The Dead buried their dead
While the living was still on the run
Like a hungry lion they were ruthless
Killing with everything in them
My legs grew tired of running
My heart can't stop beating
Trying to catch the strength I lost
But just a little stop can take you to heaven
The battle turned me into a slave
And make me live in a place
that was not my home
The battle separated me from my loved ones
And kept me in a city of loneliness
Only hearing the endless cry
Of the people of my land
Who in battle they lost their loved ones too
The rich were no were to be found
Yah the poor endured it to the end
With a sad smile on there beautiful face
