Not everyone has the time to understand how the blockchain works. And much less actually get into the consensus talk.

If you have stake in this platform, and if you like it, then maybe you should get involved. But hey, its understandable too, you can't and thus do not know what to vote on proposals or that there even existed such a thing.

But what if you can't? What if there just isn't enough time for you to get involved because, "life" and your too concentrated on building your blog? Nothing wrong with that.

Well...
Because of such occurrences, these certain users do not research their witnesses and vote accordingly. They either do not vote or vote on them randomly. That's ok. Slowly we can recrify that. The important part is that you did vote. But surely you want your votes to go where they are needed?

You don't have to do all that because there is this called a "proxy".

Now it is under my opinion, that whomever partakes in being a proxy, which can also be a witness and anybody with an account, should take on the responsibility of keeping up with developments of the chain and pass on the news in an organized fashion. Not only that but also to vote accordingly on witnesses that will best benefit the all.

This will require the proxy to really be involved in the "politicks"(for lack of a better word), in the social side with other proxies and those who voted him/her to be a proxy. Why? So that the proxy can get an idea in part as to what the rest of blurt need and also raise issues when need be.

The more people elect a single person for proxy, the higher the bp vote on witness vote it will be. What I mean is, a proxy can also become a great influencer on witness votes. Voting for an x amount of users who don't have the time to participate. So, it is my opinion that these proxies should try to exel in this endeavor and be completely honest.

Almost like electing a senator for example or an ambassador acting as a bridge between witnesses and the proxies followers that voted him/her to be a proxy.

It's also a market on its own as the work a proxy puts in can be published and recieve awards in this way.

What else can a proxy do? I am eager to see your responses and ideas and opinions.

I am a normal user just like yourself. Living a regular life as an electrician and blog as a hobby. I spend my time online mostly reading content and comment mostly when I feel I could be of use. Of course I do not spend my whole day on here, but I do keep up with blurt essentials and am very observant. I don't want to be involved in petty wars of opinions because they usually involve false accusations and trying to get in the middle of that can be ugly.

My intention in life is to be a humble servant to the meek that will inherit the earth and nothing more. And no I do not mean servant as in slave but as a leader who teaches pthers to be a leader as I have tried to do in majority of my life, especially since after my own resurrection.

I take my own life serious and am plagued with the weight of the world on my shoulders. I don't expect any one to understand, but if you do right on.

If you vote for me as your proxy, let me know so we can chat. Or don't. It's all very fine too.

I will try to make a monthly report on covering the issues that are brought to me or ones that i discover or that are raised up by other active members.

The reason for me running to be your proctor for blurt is because I feel there is a need of active users on the consensus and I see there is a great gap here. So I'll try to also reblurt what I find of something that needs attention.

Please feel welcome to raise your voices, I am all ears and open always to recieve your criticism. Please use facts, truth, logic and reason, that is the only way to help me help you.

Proxy idea is cool, and it's nice if you do your best to vote for the right witnesses. But me personally, I prefer to vote by my own. Also, the criteria I have, is to make sure that those witnesses are at least doing something for blurt, or active on it, or keeping some money on it. As well, when someone shows us that he/she cares about blurt, they should at least show us what they are doing. I asked recently one here to answer some questions asked him, and he prefers to not answer, but to wait. While I think a witness should always write reports about what's done. At least share some information about blurt. Like @rycharde who creates those reports. I mean Blurt Economic Indicators or @tekraze who shares Dev Updates.

But I will still look on my votes, I see some who I'm voting for not writing anything about blurt. I'll check those you are voting for. I need to learn more about witnesses in blurt, especially those who lower than 10. The ranking I mean. Because someone in 40 or 50 can do really more for blurt, and of course he/she should be given the vote. If you have witnesses to recommend, who are not in the top, feel free to do that.
