BLURT LOVE buy someone an account

in blurt •  3 years ago  (edited)

I thought following on from @offgridlife 's post about gifting someone blurt we could also make it a monthly thing to buy a friend or someone we know a blurt account and top it up with enough for them to make a couple of posts. I think a lot of people not used to crypto get put off by the signing up but once they made a bit of money they would be motivated to learn how to do something with it later.

I know sometimes we do it and the person doesn't use it but 3 dollars a month is doable for us all I think who are earning on blurt and I think eventually would stick. If everyone on here bought 12 accounts over the years for friends and family and even just 2 of them continued to use it imagine how many new users we would gain!!!!

There is someone I promised to start an account for last week so I am going to do that later and send my blurt to them to get started :)

Just a random photo by me lol

I learned a lot from @offgridlife about Blurt. I'll stick with Blurt and make the best content possible. Hopefully what we are doing now can provide good results for us in the future.

It's really beautiful to find oneself in a community of persons who think and radiate only positive vibes on how to put smiles on other people's faces. I have never experienced this before and am really elated to be in a midst of such people. Thanks to @offgridlife for inspiring you @ultravioletmag. I think with such a community like blurt the world is indeed a better place. Cheers!

A few months ago, I once gave a gift in the form of a Blurt account to some of my close friends. In the beginning, they were quite active in posting. However, as time goes by, they are now rare, and never even post anymore. Sad 😢

he even wants to get into blogging

I bought one for my bf and powered it up a week ago and he's never logged in lol but I think if we bought one a month 2 of those ppl surely will just stick

i will follow your example and @offgridlife's too! thanks! i am now onboarding someone

meant to do mine yesterday but had to go out so I guess my day of random act of kindness will be 18th :D haha Yay lets hope some of these stay!

yes seeing as for most people the blockchain is an alien life force and it is impossible for them to get on here on their own this is what I'd already decided to do. Shepz1 gave me my first Hive account already set-up. I had an old steemit account already but was completely ignorant of what it was and was only using it as storage for my writings.
I've already set up a new account for someone but he has failed to take it up so will take the deposit I gave it and introduce 2 more people I have in the pipeline both creative and talented people with no clue how to use or join blurt.
I do think this is the only way to get more people on here or we'll just end up with all the other Hive rejects.

yeah I started one for my bf as he wanted to blog and powered it up a bit and hasn't made one post so im going to take the power up away soon to make new accounts lol

yes this is very true and yes I think you actually were the one that inspired me to start giving the accounts. I need to do some more this year now I have gotten a fair bit in here, a new account is a drop in the ocean. I know myself steemit was how I got into crypto once I got going it gave me the encouragement to learn how to sign up for exchanges and move money I was completely new to it then and had I had to do it in order to sign up I might have just kept putting it off.

Yes me too, I knew nothing about crypto and have been learning ever since I got on hive, I still don't have a wallet of my own. I want to buy some piratechain next.

I have loads of friends that are creative or spiritual that would do amazing posts it's just hard getting them started I think. I will accept at least half will drop off or not bother but may as well try. Even towards me leaving hive completely I started only giving them blurt as it was just easier to get going here, less arguing and politics and good place for people to start.

Hmm, that's pretty interesting. How much does an account cost?

3 dollars which is very little but I feel its a big block to people not used to crypto etc and blockchain signing up I know for me it was these platforms that first got me into crypto

Awesome

I actually invited my friends and my sister to join blurt already and I'll buy the accounts for them :)

That's why I really love blurt platform.

me too! I think everyone thought with no downvotes we would all be arguing but the fact everything here is so peaceful and loving is really just a sign of who was causing the aggravation.

people on the most part here have rational discussion and an ability to communicate without using swear words lol

Hi friend, the idea of @ is a good one, I don't know who I am going to give a blurt account to or who to deposit to, I know I will find out soon, I am glad you are going to open a blurt account for someone.

Regards
