For over a week now, I am in great concern about my old buddy from Hive days @drutter. I know he has medical issues and I know he made a testament for his wife @medikatie:

About a week ago, I went over to Flote, because I was worried and I hadn't heard from him in days and then I found this:
Ever since then I am deeply worried as to what has happened to him...
He also hasn't redeemed rewards for two weeks now...
@drutter and I go back to Hive days... I loved his Canada gov defiant posts, always upvoting him and back and forth. At some point about half a year ago, TheMarkinator nuked his account and thus I got nuked too, for sticking up to @drutter...
Thanks to Dan (@world-travel-pro) we both landed here on Blurt and never looked back...
I am so crushed, that something may have happened to him and I may never find out what, not being able to enjoy our further journey here on Blurt together... 😰

I remember him saying also that they would be off line for a while as they move north and his computer would be in a box until they are settled and have internet. He was also hoping to grow to tomatoes in a snow drift so we hope he has all that going on.

Really sad I wondered if we should start some kind of go fund me for medical bills if he needs them or something it sucks in these countries paying for medical, irs a world I couldn’t imagine being from tbe Uk.
His words reflect how strong he is. I wish him a speedy recovery and I'm very sure he has the strength for that. I'm not a hiveer and don't personally know him. If we are starting some fundraising or something to make him strong I'm in !

holy shit this sounds dramatic and I really hope that he´s more or less ok like offgridlife stated in his reply.
Not that I know him very well but we had some conversations and I gave him two or three times some advice which would help to change his situation, I do love his postings and guess he will leave a big whole here on the platform as well and moreover in his family.
Its so sad to know that people don´t have access to proper healthcare even when they live in so called developped countries.
I really hope that he is more or less well and just busy with the moving from one place to another (hopefully better one) and will pop up shortlyagain with some better news, all my prayers with him and his family !

I was thinking the other day I haven't seen a post from @drutter for a while I know there has been times he doesn't post for some days. Now ready that flote post I'm now very concerned for him and his family. I met him early on hive maybe even steem it's been awhile.

Well… they just rented a new place in Northern BC 🇨🇦 so I am sure they are still in the process of getting set up. Maybe no internet up there. Also, if he logs in from Tim Hortons wifi he is probably using the old BlurtLatam.com and figures that Blurt is gone. Hopefully he’s ok.

Yes, I've been thinking a lot about him as well especially of late. Given the what he has explained regarding his health, I have my doubts if we will be seeing our friend drutter here again. I certainly hope we do. This place is definitely not the same without him.

Never really chatted with him deeply, but we hopped on similar content, whether it was the Weedcash community on Hive or when we bumped into each other on political posts. The guy is pretty cool. Honestly, I hope he is doing fine. It would be a terrible loss for all of us.
