This weekend, the witness @khrom made a post asking to collect blurt graphics in order to gather them in one place. Asking all those who have some and would like to give them for Blurt promotional purposes on a "free to use" basis to upload them on a Google drive link he gave in his post.
His post with all the info: [Witness Talks] Free blurt promo graphics in one place? (ENG/PL)
Doing myself the covers of my posts for @beblurt (Blurt dApp frontend) and @nalexadre (my Blurt witness account) using either background images from Unsplash or my own images, taken with either my Canon eos M6 Mark II or my Canon EOS M50, and considering the materials and branding to promote Blurt extremely important, I started modifying some of my covers and creating some as well.
Using Krita for years now (fed up with being Adobe's cash cow), a FREE open source professional painting program similar to Photoshop and available on Windows, Mac and Linux I exported the files in 3 versions.
A ".kra" version which is the extension of Krita including the layers and can be easily modified, a ".psd" version for Photoshop (exported from Krita so I leave it to you to check as I don't want to reinstall Photoshop) and a ".jpg" version in 4K
All the backgrounds of the uploaded materials are my own photos. As requested I place all its creations in "free to use", allowing reusers to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the material in any medium or format, limited to a purpose of promoting the Blurt blockchain only.
I have already uploaded 9 creations in the 3 formats I use to illustrate this post. Do not hesitate to tell me which one you prefer in comments :)
I also uploaded the version of the Blurt logo that I have but that is only in 250 pixels, it's annoying that a 4K version is not available on Wikimedia Commons
Don't hesitate to use them on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, Medium, Quora...
thanks for mention and good job you are doing!
Thank you, before I make my post I saw some Blurtians who put theirs in comment of your post, I hope many others will follow 👍
They look cool, my favorite one is the rise and shine one. I saw khrom's post previously as well (I am a little backtracking on what has been posted, getting to know who is who). It is a good idea so I will go make my contribution as well... with little drawings. Your pictures are really great (knowing that you take them yourself) : The are very cleared, straight and conceptual. The green lights from the building, the way the ships are align with the bridges, all very nice and professional.
Thanks a lot for your comment :) The photo of the Rise & Shine was taken at Karon beach, a beautiful and long beach on the west coast of Phuket, Thailand. The green lights are the lasers in the Marina Bay Sands light and water show that I took on one of my trips to Singapore. Glad to hear that you too will contribute to Khrom's initiative with little drawings 👍
You seem to travel a lot :-) I like the chance to make little contributions, they are like little challenges (drawing with an objective is fun). Maybe there should be a little channel where we could share a bunch (I feel more comfortable to post in a channel versus uploading something on a google drive). HIVE did a channel like that, it is useful we can just go post randomly in it. Anyway, time to finish my coffee and I will probably starts some little logos later :-)
