How to use Blurt Chat on iOS Device?

Hello Blurt Community Members,

With this post, allow me to share updates on Blurt Chat app.

How to use Blurt Chat on iOS Device?

Check above video or Follow the steps below.

Download BlurtKey app on your iOS Device.

Log in

  • Enter username
  • Enter Private Posting key
  • BlurtKey app is similar to HiveKeychain & MetaMask - BlurtKey For Blurt.
  • It helps you to safely store your keys on your mobile device
  • Tap on Import

Add Active key

  • Open Options menu by clicking on options button from Top-Right corner of the screen

  • Tap on Manage Keys
  • Import Active Key
  • This key is also saved on BlurtKey app - SECURELY

Open In-App-Browser & open pwa.blurt.blog

  • Open Side menu again

  • Tap on browser
  • Tap on URL Bar

Login to Blurt App

  • Tap on top-right corner button to log in
  • Enter username
  • Tap login button
  • Here is how it is going to look like

  • Hit Confirm

Start Blurt Chat

  • In Blurt App, from Left menu, you can Tap on Blurt Chat

Provide Private Memo key

  • memo key based encryption & decryption is not supported by BlurtKey App
  • So, I've added feature to encrypt & decrypt chat within the Blurt chat
  • That's why you're required to provide private memo key in the Blurt chat.
  • Enter Memo key here.
  • Hit Save button two times

Recent Chats

  • After providing memo key, you'll see recenct chats.

Start new chat

  • To Start new chat, tap on compose button from top-right corner
  • Type search query - in this example - "ultrav"
  • Hit search button
  • Find a user & tap on it.

Send a message

  • Type the message
  • Tap on Send button

  • When you tap on send button, you'll see a pop-up from BlurtKey App
  • In that popup, you can see that the message is encrypted
  • Click on confirm

Congratulations

  • You've just sent the message using blurt chat
