We have so many crops which are of different categories leading to several aspect when it comes to agricultural mindset lifestyle. Here in Nigeria and I also know that this is how it will looks like in some part of the world they have what is called the tuber crops and also we have cash crops, we also have cereal crops, we also have something called leguminous crops. So I went to a farm that has this type of crop and I was so happy to see the development and how the crops grows because this is an uncommon crop but for those who actually can care for tubers crops you can also plant this kind of crop just like yam. This particular one is called Coco yam.
- This kind of crop can be planted in loam soil, part of clay soil, and also mixture of sandy soil and loamy soil. It will do a lot of good when growing up. There are some kind of weed that do not affect this kind of crop or plants and this is the advantage of planting this Cocoyam. It also has some features like a very long vine and also LEAVES are very wide.
although when I got to the farm there was a lot of weed around the planted crops but yes it will not really affect the crop because it has a lot of strong resistance to weed.
- When it comes to maturity stage it will show some signs of dry leaves also. at the bottom of the plant itself there will be some leaves already dried off this will show that it is grow old and also produces much fruit down below the soil.
- This is how wide the list looks like and it also has so much ability to tap sunlight. When the rain falls it captures more of rain as well.
