IN SOLIDARITY WITH NIGERIANS

They came to bargain for freedom
But their bodies were bagged to the grave
All they did was kneel and plead
They sung the anthem of patriotism
With joy and bloodshot eyes

They pleaded for SARS to end
But their lives were ended instead
By bloodsuckers in camouflage
Even though they wrapped themselves
In the flag, It was stained with blood

Parents rendered Childless
Children rendered parentless
Those they are supposed to cry to
For protection, are imposing violence on them
Who do they cry out to?

Hands wrapped in guns
Voices screaming for mercy
But heartless service men
Pull the trigger on martyrs
Destroying the lives
They are supposed to protect

Mother Africa rise up
Our generation deserves better
Let our voices be heard
And let our souls be reached out for
In Solidarity with Nigerians
Rest In Peace to all martyrs
You are our true Heroes
