The participation period of the first competition I organised on the blockchain has expired.
Blurt Sports Prediction Contest #001
Participation in the competition has been so intense (!) that even if half of the predictions made by the participants are correct, I will have no blurt to distribute and I will go bankrupt !!!
Hehe!
I would really like to go bankrupt, but unfortunately not a single person participated in the competition. The above statements are only a reflection of the moments when I mocked myself and smiled.
Anyway, according to the legend circulating on the internet, Coco Cola sold only 1 unit in its first year!
No giving up, I will announce the second leg of the competition on Tuesday!
However, yesterday's article explaining the competition raised a question in my mind. I wonder if the majority of the content published on the blurt blockchain is voted without being read?
Since it was the first post for the contest participation, I kept the post a little long. It reached the average number of interactions each of my content received. Despite this, there was not a single participant in the contest. How hard is it to make 5 random guesses?
Those who voted may have done so in support. I thank each and every one of them, but what I wonder is whether the content is actually voted by reading the content or whether random voting is done until the voting power is reduced to a certain level.
This curiosity does not only apply to my own content. Neither is it a direction as to how people should use their voting power. This is a matter for everyone to know and decide for themselves.
I am trying to explain and find a reason to turn down the chance to win a blurt in return for a comment as easy as saying A, B, C, D, E wins.
Moreover, I also posted this competition on read.cash and I was disgraced there too!
HaHa !
The first competition I organised individually in Blockchain: Blurt Sports Prediction Contest #001
Anyway, I would like to say that the other legs of the contest will continue in the coming days and I will be insistent on this issue to the extent that I will be a little head-scratching. I want to do something permanent and fun on blurt.
That the majority votes the content without reading?
Definitely yes. Sometimes I have also done it when I know that the author I follow does not create garbage content and I am 100% confident in his originality, however, I think that if someone reads and votes your content, it is because there was something that caught his attention, and in that sense, it is necessary to write a comment to contribute new ideas to what has already been created; Adding value should be the first objective in Blurt since money will come as a result of the first.
Why didn't I enter your contest?
Well, I didn't really understand the mechanics very well. I have participated in many initiatives and when I do the translation into Spanish, the message is not clear, and I prefer to wait for the participation of other people to see how they did it and to be able to do it the right way.
I haven't posted on read.cash for some time, because there I only talk about trading and cryptocurrencies, just like on noise.cash, when the free tips disappear, I disappear too, although I wander around from time to time.
Thank you. This is not an accountability article about whether to participate in the competition or not. :)
I just wanted to create an interaction on the blog. It was to provide interaction through a simple competition and comments on the matches I already follow.
In fact, only 5 predictions will be made from the list I gave very simple. Who will win or draw will be chosen.
Am in giving you a follow to stay updated, engagement here is a bit low am sure with time more users will understand the need for it looking forward to your next contest.
Thank you, I want to increase participation and do something fun here.
