Entangled of Hope - black and white painting

in blurt •  3 years ago

Hello, dear art lover friends, best wishes always wherever you are.

On this occasion I try to share a black and white painting again using Graphite 8b pencil material and black oil pastels. I'm trying to make a portrait of an old man entangled in hope.

It's a dark black color with a bit of white light on the face, and I tried to take it from above, because I only wanted to show it on the face. For paper, I only use an A4 drawing book and the size is slightly smaller than the book.

As usual, I started this painting with a line, namely a "sketch" then continued until it became an image and finally made a gradation on the shadow part of the image.

Here below are some pictures that I also share during the process from start to finish, I hope this looks perfect and can please all of you.

Okay, dear art lovers, that's the black and white painting from me tonight, with all its flaws, I hope this will please your heart. Thank you I say to everyone who always supports my art and thank you also to my friends who have visited my post, I hope it is useful.

Regards, @ewiendos.
