I like that summer vacations are fun, purposeful, and rich with educational experiences. I explain to you how I plan this vacation with my family.
First, I set my priorities. What are the main things I want to achieve this summer? Here are examples of things I would like to achieve:
Making a list of what I personally want to achieve is like learning something new
Identify the main things I want to accomplish in my home. Such as painting the walls, washing the curtains, or maintaining the house
Sit with our children to set their goals for the summer. Maybe reading more or focusing on sports
Second: I divide my priorities into specific activities and distribute them according to the months I want to do them with, for example, family vacations and swimming lessons in July, visiting the family doctor and preparing for the next school year in August. Then I divide my tasks into specific weeks, days, and times.
Tips for sticking to the plan
Stay away from all distractions, so I put my phone on airplane mode!
Reward myself for any valuable accomplishments, even the small ones, such as reading for at least an hour. This creates motivation, which is the link between achievement and reward in our minds. We tend to repeat the behaviors we reward ourselves for
Encouraging family members (including children) to engage us in important activities such as reading. Sharing ideas about what we have read and read increases the benefits
What we should take into account when planning
Set specific times to sleep and wake up
Planning family activities that include everyone
Plan activities for mother and son or father and daughter regardless of the gender of your children
Doing outdoor activities is beneficial for the mind, body and spirit
Doing at least one thing a day that will bring us closer to achieving our dreams
Learn something new (the art of photography
or dance or a new language) and involve the children in it
Hobbies, our age still allows us to do what we love!
