Hi all blurt.word lovers friends!

Now in my post this time. I will share information that happened recently in the country of Bangladesh. This is information on the latest events, namely - Demanding that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina step down, and tens of thousands of Bangladeshi citizens rallied there.
Tens of thousands of protesters took to the streets in Dhaka, Bangladesh, calling for the dissolution of parliament, and demanding the resignation of Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
According to CNN , the demonstration was organized by the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), which accused Hasina of failing to cope with rising fuel prices and living costs.
They demanded Hasina step down and called for new elections to be held soon.
Hasina has responded to the demo. He called opposition leaders "terrorist arsonists" and warned people against letting the BNP - the largest opposition party - return to power.
A number of arrests were also made ahead of Saturday's protests. It was recorded that the police arrested two BNP leaders, including the party's general secretary, Mirza Alamgir, on Friday (9/12).
In addition, one person was also reported to have died in a clash between protesters and police during a demonstration on Wednesday (7/12) when security forces fired tear gas to disperse people who had gathered in front of the BNP office in the capital.
Hasan Mahmud, Bangladesh's Minister of Information and Broadcasting said authorities believe the man died after being injured by a Molotov cocktail set up by activists and blamed the BNP for "creating chaos".
So far, the Election Commission of Bangladesh has not announced the date of the next general election, which is scheduled for late 2023.
The Bangladesh Awami League, led by 75-year-old Hasina, has been in power since 2009. Hasina won a third consecutive term as Prime Minister in 2018 in national elections.
Meenakshi Ganguly, South Asia director at Human Rights Watch, criticized the government's response to the protests.
"Any interested government should publicly ask the prime minister to allow Bangladeshis to engage freely in peaceful political activities," he said.
"Sheikh Hasina must accept the challenge of democratic governance."
Meanwhile, US Ambassador to Bangladesh Peter D. Haas said in a statement that the embassy is concerned about reports of political intimidation and violence and urges authorities to investigate and protect freedom of expression and peaceful assembly.
