The acid test has failed
The political scoundrels were spawned in error.
Their romance pinches our flesh.
With daily mutations of absurdities and terror.

I weep for this colonial contraption.
Whose weak fraternal love has withered away.
Daily happenings questions our moral suasion.
With the ailing peace diffusing sporadically into thin air.

The erstwhile regional power now crawl.
Down on her knees with begging plate.
Her children's heads are now famished into mere skulls.
And borders porous as hell gates.

Sharia political gambit is morbid.
Its conundrum sends sanity into hasty flight.
With teeming youths docile and flaccid.
As banditry is brandished everywhere in broad day light.

The darkness is now darker.
Gun running germinates like mushroom.
Sabotage is infantile and as forbidden as cancer.
Compatriot are called to arrest the raging monsoon.
