Emphasis also helps through highlighting phrases which are after helping and as much underlining main points, hence one can equally achieve this just by changing the tone, while increasing the volume slightly, which has to do with elongating of a specific words which as much directs the audience’s focus on what's matters in a message.
And having a pause is just as strategic pauses which give our audience time just to absorb information while trying to build anticipation with just a brief pause before giving an important point helps in heightening its impact, while that of a pause just after a key idea goes on allowing the listener to reflect.
