what then is Aromatherapy, in a situation whereby ewe decide to use this essential oil for therapeutic purpose , it is known as aromatherapy.

​ The usage of aromatherapy dates back many centuries. Essential oils carry fragrance molecules that, when breathed in, travel straight via the olfactory nerves to the brain, where they have a particularly strong effect on the amygdala, the brain's emotional center.

The skin is able to soak up essential oils as well. To help release stiff muscles during a rubdown, a massage therapist may add one drop or two of wintergreen essential oil. Lavender is something a skincare business might use with bath salts to make for a relaxing soak.
