Continued from last post
This chapter was a little different from the other ones as the author started with a story which can clearly be seen as a metaphor for the power of subtle cues in guiding behaviour.
The story was about Tony Dungy , who was a paramedic, He recognized that something is actually wrong with a patience before anyone else could .
It was because of this his observational skills that allowed him to pick up or seen cues that others missed , thus saving the patience life.
so what was the author trying to insinuate in this story , he introduced the idea that we humans are very good in noticing patterns , often without even realizing it. These patterns are what now serve as cues that drive our behaviours.
