How are you guys doing tonight? I always wish you good health and wellness. On this occasion I want to share knowledge about the kinds of animals that exist in this world that I know for all my friends. Every day I will share information about Kinds of Animals briefly.
Based on their habitat Animals can be grouped into 4 habitats, namely: Air, Water, Amphibians and Land. So that we can more easily recognize and learn about these animals, as well as learn where the animals live.
Dragonfly / Anisoptera
Dragonfly (Odonata) is a component of biodiversity that
have an important role in the food web as herbivores, carnivores, and
detrivores. Odonata is a predatory insect, because dragonflies eat smaller insects both in water and on land, even same sex can be targeted. Dragonflies have benefits for ecosystem. The existence of dragonflies in nature acts as a predator and balance the population of other insects in the ecosystem.
Habitats that support the life of dragonflies are areas with water areas. This is because dragonfly nymphs spend their time in the water. These habitats include rice fields, lakes, rivers, swamps, and ponds. Dragonflies can be found active in several places such as agricultural areas, grasslands, and in rice fields as well as in water areas.
