How are you guys doing tonight? I always wish you good health and wellness. On this occasion I want to share knowledge about the kinds of animals that exist in this world that I know for all my friends.
Based on their habitat Animals can be grouped into 4 habitats, namely: Air, Water, Amphibians and Land. So that we can more easily recognize and learn about these animals, as well as learn where the animals live.
Shaman Monkey (Mandrill) / Mandrillus sphinx
The mandrill is the largest and most colorful monkey species in the world. This primate has dark gray fur and a white belly. The most notable is the bright color on the face and behind the body. Mandrills can be found in Congo, Cameroon, Gabon and Equatorial Guinea. The IUCN lists mandrills as vulnerable to extinction.
Mandrills are the largest non-ape primates, with unique characteristics as primates of even the most colorful of mammals. Mandrills are known for having blue and red skin on their faces and noses, very long canines for self-defense, and of course, beautiful rainbow colored buttocks.
The buttocks on Mandrills can emit their brightest and most colorful colors when they are excited. In addition, this characteristic is also shared as a secondary sexual sign by both sexes, but is much more alive in males when they are eager to hunt for a mate. The combination of pink, purple, blue and bright red on the buttocks of the male Mandrill is considered to be very attractive to the female.
