" MORNING HAS BROKEN! "😀..........................NORTHWEST ADVENTURES! 😀

“ Morning has Broken! “ 😊
Cot continued pacing back and forth around Liz and Silvertop as we slept in “HIS” bed!………..😻
“ Cot …lay down son, it’s 3 AM!” 🙄
The storm continued, hour after hour, heavy rain continued to fall!
Liz tells me we had over 1 3/4 inches of rain last night!😅
The rainfall pounded hard on our glass skylight.
Every creek and tributary feeding the river in the valley was running hard this morning!
River level at 3PM….. 77.88 feet
Flood stage is 83 feet 😮
Last summer they installed “Gates” on the road entrance to the valley town of Everson. Several years ago someone thought they could drive through deep flood waters.
The pickup they were driving was swept away, with the driver!
The third photo is a farmer’s field near the town of Lynden Wa.
The locals have nicknamed this annual body of water, “Lake Lynden” Lol!
The next photo is for our friend @silversaver888 . This is Liz and Silvertop’s creek, where I have spent many hours out in the cold panning for very elusive flakes of Gold!☺️
This time of year churns up fresh sand and fine gravel, opening the possibility of Gold flakes in the Springtime!😇
By the afternoon the Sun was peaking out from behind the clouds………
“Rain at night, and a bit of Sun during the day Liz…… I can handle this Honey!”🥰
“Tell Cot the storm is over, he can go back to sleep now!”😻
