This winter’s forecast was to be extra cold and snowy!
Everyone needs to stock up on can goods, we will probably be spending days stranded at home!
Well that’s what the weather forecast was saying way back in October Lol!🤣
No snowfall at all yet this year………
Liz and Silvertop spent the day shopping in town…………..
The closer we drove towards home the heavier the “corn snow” started falling!😮
Corn snow is a terminology that is used for Colorado snow, that was half snow, half ice……..very small balls of snow, like the stuffing in a bean bag chair!😇
No one knows how to drive on snow down in the “flatlands”!
Several miles before we even got close to our local Starbucks in the sleepy little town of Lynden, two cars collided!
It’s always best to stay away from heavy traffic during a snowstorm, we call there drivers “The Crazies!”😳
Driving defensively, and lowering your speed a few miles per hour, is the best way to navigate through snow…… and other cars!😇
Living in the foot of the Mountains changes everything!
Halfway bare pavement, suddenly becomes completely snow packed!
Just look at the last few photo near our hiking trailhead, much more snow is on the road!
Yep it’s snowing, and hard!😮
Will this snow last…… time will tell!😇
With tomorrow being groundhog Day, it will be interesting to see if he sees his shadow, predicting six more weeks of winter!🥶
My vote is for the groundhog to NOT see his shadow Lol!😇
