With so many different hiking locations, it has been a while since Silvertop hiked the “High Trail”!
I decided to postpone my outdoor painting till tomorrow and head up to the ridge top and Tim’s Offgrid cabin.😊
“Alexa what’s the chance of rain tomorrow?”
“It might rain, there’s a 55 precent chance of rain tomorrow!”😅
That’s basically a flip of the coin…….🙄
Paint….. or hike, for better or worse Silvertop decided to hike!😇
The first hill climb opens up to a beautiful valley!
One of my neighbors is repairing the lumber mill that you can see in the distance in the fourth and fifth photo. He has set up a canopy……. Just in case of rain!😅
This has been an ongoing labor of love….
I’m sure this mill will produce good quality dimensional lumber someday…………..
I believe he started repairing this mill over three years ago……………🙄
Silvertop would rather drive to Home Depot and pick up his lumber!😇
I had forgotten how nice this part of Sumas Mountain was!
I sat on a log at the ridge top…………
even on a hazy day like today, I could see the Ocean!😊
Fall days are fleeting, sometimes you need to balance work….. play, and hiking!😇
