WHERE EXACTLY IS THAT NEON SIGN? ..............NORTHWEST ADVENTURES! 😀

Where exactly is that neon sign? 🤣
Silvertop was just telling @boatsports90 that we must have a neon sign over our house, all the animals think this is home Lol! 😇
I guess it’s a “Welcome sign”!
Since we have lived in this home, we have had stray cats, dogs , peacocks, opossums, deer, bobcats, cougars, turkeys, and even “Baby Mountain Lions” come to check out Liz and Silvertop!😇
Cot in the first two photos, was “tossed away” into the forest by someone when he was barely six weeks old. The Mrs and Silvertop were in the beginnings of our hiking adventures.
We were “Road hikers” back then.
We hiked along the Mountain pass road, and at a sharp bend we both heard this very pitiful meowing……..
This little kitten came limping out of the forest…….. he was hurt!😮
Liz and Silvertop already had Cyle, another rescue cat at home, so for the next week we tried to find a home for this little guy!😺
Whoever put that neon sign up, knew that by the time we named this hurt kitten “Cot”, he was home!😻
Soon his leg healed, and he was leapfrogging over Cyle his adoptive “older brother” 😺
Today as Silvertop pushed a wheelbarrow out to the firewood pile to stack more wood, I was met by a Mother deer and her two babies!😊
Mom hung back, and watched as one baby deer stared at Silvertop……………..😮
“ Well hello little girl, how are you? “
Mom wasn’t to sure about her baby walking towards me……..
I snapped a few photos, and she looked at me, and started walking even closer!
Usually at this point, the Mother will start to move away, and the babies will quickly follow her.
This deer kept walking towards me…………..
She came within an arm’s length of Silvertop!
“ Girl I guess you know you are safe here, just be careful, not everyone is as friendly as Silvertop! “🙄
At this point Mom bounced away into the thick brush, and both babies ran to catch up with her!😍
“ It’s a good thing they went back into the forest Cot, with you and your brother, we don’t have any extra room in the house Lol! “ 😇🤣
You never know what “critters” you will spot hiking in the Mountains……… or even in your own back yard!☺️
