This is a very secluded Trail, far away from my regular hiking trails………
When I hike this alone, I always let Liz know……this is prime Cat territory!😺
I have spotted Bobcat tracks in the snow, but so far no Cougar tracks!
I found myself hiking looking down at my feet most of today……
I was keeping an eye out for Cougar tracks.
I figured I was safe to take this trail, as long as I didn’t spot any!😇
I was about a quarter of a mile down this somewhat dark narrow trail, when I abruptly stopped!😮
Ohh my….. that looks like a female Cougar track in the snow!😺
I texted Liz a photo………………
“Ohhh…… be careful Silvertop!”🥰
Hiking by myself, on a trail known for Cougar activity ……not today…..I’ll hike a different trail, one that has more “human” activity Lol!😊
These photos opportunities will still be here later……. when Liz and Jan join Silvertop!
