I Am Alive Challenge : January 8 2025

Today is a day after Ghana's new president, H.E. John Dramani Mahama was inaugurated. There were 21 heads of state present at the event with the most notable one being the President of Burkina Faso, Ibrahim Troare. He is the military leader of Burkina Faso who seized power in a military coup.

When he stepped out to greet Ghana's president, the cheers and applause were deafening. He's extremely popular especially in West Africa. He's also currently my favourite president in Africa. My favourite president is Donald Trump, second is Vladimir Putin followed by Ibrahim Troare and then Paul Kagame. Very few are able to put their people first and so far, they are the only ones I personally put their citizens first.

In 2 years of Ibrahim Troare's presidency, Burkina Faso looks better than Ghana. I'm not in the country but from what I've seen so far, I believe he's doing great. Hopefully, Ghana's new president will do better than the previous one and make Ghana great again.

Work is good, overhaul still ongoing. The contractor carrying out the overhaul calls it maintenance because he says lots of parts weren't bought and he's just managing. He says we bought less than 50% of everything we needed and now asking him to do magic. Time will tell how it goes. God is always great and I'm grateful for life.
