The weatherman called for rain. Expecting that, imagine my surprise when I emerged from ladies Bible study and the sun was shining! 🌞 It felt SO good; the warmth from it, and I knew I was going to have to go for a hike!
Once home, I texted Jan to see if she’d like to go.
It was a lovely afternoon! The sun never felt so good! I took some pictures of things around the house. Our Bloodgood Maple tree is a brilliant red!
The lace leaf Japanese maple is about the same color. Its leaves are Lacey and fine so it comes across as a little different.
I have an outdoor swing and when we get windstorms like we had yesterday, it always knocks it over. I stood it back up, which is an awkward endeavor on your own and took the canopy off. Then later @silvertop took the seat off so it could be stored in the garage for winter. In the process, I found a ‘shroom!
Then, around back by the wood pile……
That’s gonna be all for now. Tomorrow begins my workweek however it is a ‘me, myself and I’ day. No doc and no appointments. Hopefully no one will call much nor walk through the doors as I have many things to accomplish! Take care and enjoy the rest of your day! 🙏🌎🙏

What has been is what will be,
and what has been done is what will be done,
and there is nothing new under the sun.
Is there a thing of which it is said,
“See, this is new”?
It has been already
in the ages before us.
There is no remembrance of former things,
nor will there be any remembrance
of later things yet to be
among those who come after.
Ecclesiastes 1:9-11
