Tuesday Wishes............. NW Cascade Wanderings

Ever wish you didn’t have to do something just once? I guess that’s been on my mind today. My something I wish I didn’t have to do just once, is to not have to go to work tomorrow! I enjoy my job, but just once, I’d like to not have to go. 😏

Anyway, my day began with Bible study. We had a good study in Mark 4. I’ll be missing the next two sessions because of others who aren’t coming to work and I’m taking one of their days while Yana takes the Monday of the next two weeks. However, she didn’t work this past Friday nor will she this coming Friday. I’m going to be busy! 🤪

We decided to drive up to the trailhead this afternoon. We usually hike it, but circumstances for @silvertop dictate that’s not the thing to do right now. He’d also been working outside around the house while I was at Bible study. No need to push things too much!

The first picture is the trailhead. Directly to the left is the apple orchard we often talk about where the bears leave ‘apple pie’ filling piles. See @silvertop’s post for more on that.

These next guys are Inky Blacks. They are way past their prime but were like a blackened forest of them. I’ll show more tomorrow in their prime.

Here’s the top of this particular trail-well mostly. About 25’ further is truly the top. This is a backward view.

I can tell you that I’ve never seen so many ‘shrooms on this particular trail before! It’s a plethora of them!🍄‍🟫🍄‍🟫🍄‍🟫
