Meow! Happy Caturday! 😸............ NW Cascade Wanderings

Did we take a step back through time? More on that in a minute. First though, Happy Caturday to all out there, both the furry felines and those who love them! ‘Tis the day for celebration of our cute little fur babies, like Cot and Cyle!😻

Spoiled kitty boys! 😻😸

After some sleeping in and doing things around the house, we set out to get some stainless steel nuts that @silvertop needed. We then stopped for a coffee at Starbucks. Yum!

As luck would have it, we were getting lots of rain with some wind thrown into the mix. I had on my work clogs and @silvertop suggested a walk at the mall, so I had to head home first to change shoes. Whereas my feet crave my nurses clogs most of the time, they really are not good for hiking or mall walking. Once my shoes were changed, we headed to the mall in the pouring rain!

The mall was fairly busy with lots of people; children and teenagers running amuck with little to no parental supervision. I guess the mall is a rainy day babysitter! My first picture was outside of a new toy store that sprang up since our last trip there. It specializes in LEGO sets and Star Wars type toys. From what I could see, most LEGO sets were close to $100 or more!😳 They also apparently deal in used toys as they had a bit of vintage LEGO kits as well as a 3 foot tall robot. The robot was offered at $1000 or best offer! Craziness!

We continued on around and as we approached the food court, @silvertop spotted something I could not resist and was drawn to. I could have stayed there for a bit enjoying it.

The fireplace was a good 10’ long or more. It had a semi secluded sitting area with rustic log stools or tables depending on how you looked at them. It was nice!

While at the mall, I went into Bath & Body Works to get some nice ‘smellies’ for myself. I love that store! Then it was on to Winco.

It’s been quite some time since we’d gone there, but I needed some avocados and we were in the neighborhood. Avocados at our local Everson market are $2.99 and $3.99 each depending on size. I purchased the medium size that were $2.99 each in Everson, for $.78 each at Winco! I also purchased lettuce, Roma tomatoes and some cilantro for taco salads. It was well worth the stop for sure. Then we headed for home.

Although really still tired from my week, it’s been a good day.
