Rough seas…..ever feel like you’re in the sea going under and alone? That was essentially the sermon today at church. Guess what? We aren’t alone for God is with us!
After church we went home to make a determination what we were going to do. The wind warning raged on ( or at least the wind did) plus rain was in the air. When we went to town yesterday, there were some things I needed but couldn’t get because of having to cram it all in the truck cab somehow and I still had to also fit in. Consequently, we didn’t get everything. @silvertop suggested we head down to the bay first and the brave Walmart one more time on the way home.
I drove us down to the Marine Park just south of Fairhaven. The wind had not died down and the rain was more of a mist or was that saltwater? Anyway, many Alfreds were busy looking to see what the rough waters deposited on shore.

When we got close to the bay, we saw a boat that reminded us both of a military boat at the north end of the bay. While at the park, we noticed it cruising towards our location.

The ocean was loud with pretty big waves for a protected bay. I did record the sound as I love the sound of waves! Wish I could share it.
Despite the wind, rain and cold, it was kind of nice. I stood at the waters edge for quite while just watching and listening to it as it’s like a balm for my soul. The tide was coming in as I at one point looked down at my hikers to discover I was in water! I started scooting back and had to do so several times.
Tomorrow is Monday which will find me headed to work early to straighten out an issue with claims and the software. It’s always something. 😏 At least I got two weekends where I didn’t have to work. Maybe next weekend I won’t have to. 🙏
