Not all addictions are bad. Work addiction, reading addiction, to name just two examples, are good. Spending the whole day with a cell phone in hand, replacing interpersonal relationships, even family ones, with an electronic device that allows me to interact with someone who isn't even a real person, seems like an outrage to me.
Surely within a couple of decades we will see the dire consequences of such an action.
But, anyway, there are opinions for everyone.
