Hello Blurt friends and all photography lovers. On this occasion I would like to present some photos of Cambodian flowers that I took yesterday afternoon in my yard. Okay friends, I will not extend his remarks further, just below I will show a photo of the plant.
Plumeria is the name of the frangipani plant or in English commonly called "frangipani". Flowers on this frangipani plant are familiar and of course already famous for those who like to visit the island of the Gods, because this flower has become an icon there.
The origin of the Cambodian plant is from Central America and the name Plumeria was given in honor of Charles Plumier, a French botanist in the 17th century. The frangipani plant can grow in tropical and subtropical climates. Flowers on frangipani plants have a distinctive characteristic that must be smelled at night.
Frangipani plants can thrive in the lowlands to an altitude of 700 m above sea level. The characteristic of this plant is that it is easy to breed and does not require special care like other plants. This plant can also survive hundreds of years because this plant is a succulent plant, which is a type of plant that can store water in all parts of the roots, stems, leaves and flowers.
Morphologically, Cambodia has characteristics such as round trunks and hard, bent wood with many branches. When flowering, the branches will lose their leaves and just look like a dead tree with bare branches. The shape of the leaves varies, including lanceolate with a pointed tip and base. It is green and thick, and the veins of the leaves stand out. Generally, the leaves are 15-20 cm long. While the width of the leaves ranges from 6-12.5 cm.
Behind the beauty of its flowers, the frangipani plant is considered a spooky and haunted plant by the general public because it is often also found in graves. However, the frangipani plant contains many compounds that are beneficial to the body. The use of natural medicines as antibacterial is mostly done by the community and rarely causes side effects, one of which is white frangipani flowers (Plumeria alba).
